My first Big Con and My First Time in LA!

Day0
Everything was up to the last minute >< so on the plane I was comatose until we were about to land. Then I started freaking about 'wow! it's LA! and...PALM TREES!' yes... i loves palm trees.

grabbed me from the airport and we headed straight to pre-reg. I got a pic of the AX archway...Oooohhh ahhhhh (will post pix somewhere...) and took a short tour of the quiet facilities<3Then it was off to the line! We milled around outside and slipped into the depths of nerd-dom. and when we finally reached the end, my cohort commented 'Now we go into line 2.0..'

I lolled...thought he was kidding...;^^ Then we just got 'home' and prepped.

Day1
Got there and chilled in line<3 I got some pix of a 'Love Me' team from Skip Beat, and they had me stamp their pads >_< and I fan-girled.

Got to talkn' to the Awesome Travis behind us (what luck!!) he was one of the koolest artists we could have possibly found there ^^<3 And the Lovely Angie in line 2.0<3

Got over there and met teh awesome table mates<3(always great to have awesome table mates<3 Got setup and ....nobody was buying...Plenty of Flyers went out, though. But I needed to pay back my table mate, so the plotting began >< ( plus I was suffering from an irrational earthquake fear and couldn't focus! ><So I took a copy of DC up to the Manga Cafe and received a Naruto figurine.
Thought process: " okay...this better be *pulls out Kakashi figurine* Angi: EEYUS! *jumps up and down in the middle of the hallway before trotting happily back to AA<3*

Room closed and we packed up and strolled around for a bit. Saw not one but TWO awesome Cloud cosplays<3 and an Assassin's Creed 2!!!

Conversation:
Angi: OMG! can i have pic!
AC2 Cosplayer: Sure *SHINK as double blades appear*
*Chuck and Angi Fan-kid all over the ground before taking pix*

Day2
Dog tired. Setup, again barely any sales, but plenty of promo...too tired to make an effort to talk to peeps T^T so just took the time to deal with nerves/irrational earthquake fear and got that outta the way. Saw a Zorn and Thorn and was too tired to give chase!! T^T
And shared funny asain snack with teh awesome table mates<3 followed by more plotting.

got out and people watched a bit more before heading over to Afro Samurai<3 never seen it before and loved it!

Went home a crashed for saturday ><

Day3
Was more talkative and did a buncha lil fanart skeches and some commiss'.
(Got one for Zelda and Link and...for the life of me...I couldn't make a believable Zelda!! so I finally figured " there is reference of her in the AA here somewhere...*and took off with only phone in hand* Finally finding reference, I explained my situation and earned a "wow! that's dedication!" from Lone-momo >< who just happened to be at the booth at the same time T^T. Traded my phone as I carefully took the zelda back to my table to ref. and then carefully returned her and bought a Vincent Valentine print<3 and got my phone back.
It wasn't till I sat down that I realized what could have happened to my phone!! my beloved LG Dare!!! But the Table I reffed from had very nice artist and assistant running it...so I guess my gut just went with it ;-_-. If you are reading this...THANK YOU. the girl loved my sketch!

Sales were still slow but promo material was still flying off the table. And a Man came by and bought all my little original fanart sketches in one foul swoop!! So we plotted...and Sunday was gunna be dollar store day ><!

Packed up and headed out, and saw the cloud we had seen from a distance the day before. We had been debating whether it was a girl or a boy. so we snuck around the cameras (and some KH nights were being photographed at the time as well as a plain dressed Terra<333) And as I see "him" I hear Chuck make a choking noise behing me followed by a "WHAT is that!?" Angi: " THAT is what a Bishonen is derived from...that Cloud is a pretty Asian boy..." and Chuck was baffled. ANGI WIN! But after the cameras flashed and the cloud was on his way, Chuck walked up to the KH Knights inna trance. I panicked but couldn't get any closer. There was some talking and nodding and then Chuck...TOUCHED the cosplay...I was panicking until there was more nodding and all parted ways. Chuck returned with "Pleather...^^" and nothing more.

Then we were off to the arcade where we witnessed: A: Starfox playing a FPS B: Deadpool playing ParaPara and C: KH Knights playing air Hockey<3....Hell YES.

Ran into again and She and DIE ganked some really good cake from a Sevbastion cosplayer and we all sat down to cake ^^<3

We gotta good dose of Hellsing, and a Bad dose of Dubbed Clamour >< and headed home.

Day4:
Dollar day was a success! I made the rest of the money I owed Chuck >< and got planty of promo stuff out, and had a blast barking at passersby<3

Did a quick jog of the exhibit hall<3

and then we Hadda pack up and Head out >< straight to LAX and straight home...

Day 5:
Woke up wondering if it was all a dream...till I saw my suitcase on the floor ;^^
