What are the pros and cons of the DA Print system?

Journal Entry: Tue May 12, 2009, 10:45 AM

I've only 'sold' with it and not really made much for lack of buyers ;^^, and I've never bought with it for lack of money from said print sales...

So what are the pros and cons you've experienced from DA's Print System?

I'm pretty much in the same boat. I've had more buyers at my CafePress store than here (which has been zero). I think part of it is that it's not a well known service except through its members. I mean, everybody knows CafePress and Zazzle. Mention dA Prints to somebody and they go, "Who?"

I've never bought or sold anything on her and from DA policy they get most of the cash since they're printing and shipping it. (which makes sense and all but I'd just rather sell prints by printing them off myself.)

I JUST REALIZED SOMETHING! I suck at signatures. ಠ_ಠ

I've bought quite a few prints through DA. (Two of which were yours ^_^)

I really like the service. It's a fast and easy process and a good way to buy multiple prints from multiple artists from one source. The quality is usually good, though I have found there is a tendency to print dark colors a trifle darker than the deviation shows.

"That's not Fair!"
"Really? You say that so often. I wonder what your basis for comparison is?" :sushi: :fuzzydemon:
