Hair Brained Schemes...NEED HELP!Times are tough, so my gypsy blood kicks in and I start coming up with schemes for money, and I'm so desperate right now that I want to try ALL OF THEM...and often NONE of them get done for this reason ;_;.
So that's where you come in<3
I need your help telling me which of my schemes you like and how much (or little) you'd wanna pay for them.
THEN i can decide which ones to invest time in first! >< (after I fin my gift arts after I finish my one pro-bono due this week T^T aiming for three weeks! only 3! >< * says it like a mantra.)

Like I said, Times are tough... help me pay my parents rent ;_; (though they like the cooking and cleaning part, I still very much want to pay for my expenses to them T^T)

Avoid the prints. Either you end up spending a bunch to get them made at home, and you end up just making the cost back in profits. Or you put them up through a third party, here, Zazzle, etc and you make $5 bucks in profit. Totally not worth the time and effort for the return, print sales are sort of dead outside of conventions.
What would be good is setting up a site to sell some of your ABJD goods, either if it ends up on Ebay or just direct buys with paypal checkout.
And for commissions the average DA user will only spend $20 on a commission. Or so I tend to notice, which is why I don't advertise here much anymore.

I also like the new prints on DA. You can do character commissions again, those seemed to do very well. And I like seeing them. ;3 I'd pay like $25 for something, if not more. Like NCWeber up there said, nothing over $50, but base it on the complexity.
Oh! Another idea are those Crayola commissions that you suggested at NDK. xD Like with the crayons and the colored pencils and stuff. xD That sounds like it would be fun.

As for commissions, it all depends on the complexity/sketch/will i receive the piece or is it digital etc. Somewhere on the 10-30 range, depending on what it is, is what I spend.

as for the prices.... I normally expect to pay around $15 per print. Commissions are trickier, but I'd say a good price is around $30-50.

probably $20.00 ea...colored with crayon and/or colored pencils...can send you the original if you don't mind the 3in x 4in size ;^^
But I can't start the commiss officially till I finish my two gift arts that are both in coloring stages right now ><. so they will be coming first. (wb btw ;^^ GLOMPS)
